Desimi is a pebble beach sheltered in a green bay on the east coast, close to Nidri and Vlycho. Its calm, clear water makes it well suited to families and water sports, in a setting protected from the wind.

Desimi hides in a green bay on the east coast, protected by forested hills that come down to the shore. Here the sea stays calm even when the wind is blowing on the west side, and the clear water warms up pleasantly from early morning.
Kayak and paddleboard
The bay's flat water is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding: you paddle along the coast, past anchored boats and small beaches reachable only from the sea. For children, the gentle entry into the water is a big plus.
Close to Nidri
You're a few minutes from Nidri and Vlycho, so a day at Desimi ends naturally with a stroll along Nidri's waterfront or dinner at a taverna by the water. The road runs down to the beach, with parking near the shore.
How to get there
By car from Lefkada, about 30 min along the east coast, through Nidri and Vlycho; a road down to the beach and parking.
