2. What data we collect

We collect only the data we need, depending on what you do on the site:

• When you sign up for news: your email address, the fact that you gave consent, your browser language and the date and time of sign-up.
• When you send a booking request: your name, email address, phone number, the accommodation and dates you want, the number of people and any message you send us.
• When you write to us on WhatsApp or email: your contact details and the content of the conversation.
• Technically, when you visit the site: data strictly necessary for it to work (see the Cookie Policy).

3. Why we use the data and the legal basis

• To reply to your request and connect you with the owner, on the basis of pre-contractual measures and the performance of the intermediation contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To send you news and offers, on the basis of your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations, for example of a tax or accounting nature (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Who we disclose data to

We do not sell your data. We disclose it only to those we need in order to provide the service:

• The owner or host of the chosen accommodation, strictly as needed to confirm and honour your booking.
• Brevo (Sendinblue), the email provider through which we manage the news list.
• Resend, through which we send confirmation emails and notifications.
• The site's hosting provider, which stores the data securely.

5. Where it is stored and transfers

The data is stored on servers within the European Union. The owners of the accommodation we broker are in Greece, i.e. within the European Economic Area. We do not transfer your data outside the EEA without the safeguards required by law.

6. How long we keep the data

• News data: until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted.
• Data related to a booking: for as long as needed to honour it and, afterwards, for as long as our legal obligations require (for example, accounting ones).
• Contact conversations: for as long as it is useful to reply to you and to keep a reasonable history of the relationship.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out beforehand. Every news email includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise any right, write to us at [email protected].
