The trail through the gorge
3 km from Nidri, the trail climbs gently along the river through the Dimosari gorge, shaded by old plane trees and wooden footbridges. The sound of the water follows you the whole way, and the air stays cool even in August.
The waterfall and the pool
At the end, a waterfall of nearly 12 metres falls into a natural pool of clear, cold water. Many take a short swim here, exactly the kind that wakes you up right after the climb.
What to bring
The route is easy and family-friendly, but has stretches with slippery rocks. Bring shoes with good grip, water and, if you want to swim, a towel.
